Down to earth

Looking back, all my little achievements were reached by my great interest and very down-to- earth hard works.

For instances,

Math:

During junior and senior high school, I practiced every different kind of hard problems
in cram schools and my instructors are all very famous on their own names. In college, I spent
lots of time trying to figure out the basics of calculus and probability.

English:

I was in U.S at age 12, 15, and 19. Besides, I memorized numerous words since high school,
read through at least 100 time magazines and studied books about grammar and structure
over and over. When I was taking GRE, I literally did and reviewed all the old exams I could found.

Go:

Attending tournaments all over southern Taiwan since 11, I devoted to this game to an un believable extend until 14. Resuming to play again soon after the collegitate extrance exam, I started to study 50ish books and played zillion games online to improve myself. To fully embrace GO, I even volunteer to be the leader of NCKU go club.

To shortly conclude, the so-called genius is probably the hardworker in disguise. A hardworker driven by great interest is truly the potential candidate for success.
So... as I am standing here with so many prestigious professors around me, I should rather
work steadily and enjoy my work step by step instead of dreaming high and do nothing.
