Back home, a funny slang describing mean people goes like this:
The opposite one goes like this:
"Base his/her happiness upon helping others"
After being mean and nice alternatively many times, I am certain my happiness is based on the latter and I will exploit to the greatest extent my uncanny ability of bringing happiness to others. Tired of making people around me sad (no matter how often I consciously or unconsciously repeat the same mistake.)
